About me / About business or organisation:
The Foro de Moda Ética Latinoamérica (Ethical Fashion Forum Latin American ) is an open institution with the objective to strengthen ethical fashion principles among those involved in the fashion industry in Latin America, and to promote innovation and sustainability in fashion overall.
We are an open, interdisciplinary group of economists, academics, designers, social entrepreneurs, NGOs, foundations and philanthropists, who are committed to investing our skills, capital and knowledge in order to promote a competitive, alternative fashion business and production model.
Career history / Company history:
Since the Foro de Moda Ética Latinoamerica was founded by director Adriana Marina in 2008, the organization has collaborated with many institutions all over Latin America and beyond, including UNESCO, ASHOKA, the National Institute for Industrial Technology (Argentina), Palermo University (Argentina), the Ethical Fashion Show (France), the Argentine Business University, CMD (Argentina), the Government of Peru and various Peruvian universities, Bolivian artisan associations, and worker cooperatives all over the continent.
