Hello, Fiona!!! Nice to meet you!
I just wanted to say that I have the exact dream and passion! I have always wanted to be involved in sustainable fashion in order to spead the ideas as well as to change the world by fashion!
Hello there Fiona,
I have been working with natural fibres in Nepal for a long time now and can supply you with fibre, yarns, textiles, as well as finished goods. Please have a look at www.heavenhemp.co.uk and www.wildweaves.co.uk to get an idea of what we do. I work with hemp, nettle, cactus, banana, bamboo . Hope to hear from you and would like to be your friend. Take care,
Udaya
Just a quick message to introduce my newly launched, ethical accessories co. NV London Calcutta, recently shortlisted in our launch season for the EFF's Innovation Award and voted as having one of the Top 10 Ethical accessories from the recent Pure Womenswear Exhibition at London's Olympia.
Please do visit our site www.NVLondonCalcutta.com where you can view the current Collection & learn more about the people and processes behind the label.
And coming soon, we'll be launching our all new, presentation packaged wallets and purses range, well in time for Christmas.
All our goods are designed in Britain, but produced in India, specifically West Bengal, using locally sourced, natural materials, traditional production methods and environmentally friendly dyes etc.
Please let me know if you would like any further information, press releases etc.
If you'd like to be kept up to date with our happenings, you can join our mailing list by sending us your email (we promise not to spam you with junk!) or become a fan of our facebook page - NV London Calcutta which features sneak previews of product and behind the scenes news etc.
Good for you Fiona. After Make Poverty History 2005 I too got tired of nothing happening
and started to do it myself. Anyone can join in and do it as a business.
