Sharing resources and insights to help increase our impact in improving workers' lives in global supply chains
About me / About business or organisation:
The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is a ground-breaking alliance of companies, trade unions and voluntary organisations. We work in partnership to improve the working lives of people across the globe who make or grow consumer goods - everything from tea to T-shirts, from flowers to footballs.
Career history / Company history:
ETI has over 50 corporate members, including high street fashion retailers such as Gap, New Look, M&S, Monsoon/Accessorize and Zara. Membership is open to companies from all sectors.
ETI provides training on ethical trade, aimed at helping ethical trade managers, buyers and other staff within retailers and supplier companies to build skills and understanding in managing, monitoring and improving conditions for workers in global supply chains. You can find out about our training here: www.ethicaltrade.org/in-action/training
We provide a range of ethical trade resources for companies on our website, most of which you can download for free. These range from briefing papers on critical issues including how companies can reach particularly vulnerable workers such as homeworkers and migrant workers, to practical risk assessment toolkits. www.ethicaltrade.org/resources
