About me / About business or organisation:
Brasileirice is registered in the UK to promote sustainability and creativity from the sunkissed shores to the deepest forest of Brazil.
Our initiative is to connect art and fashion across nations through a creative supplement inside free papers and on line.
We have been engaging with artists, musicians, artisans, fashion designers and brands to colaborate with our media. We aim to deliver sustainable tendencies to allow creativity to enchant individual’s panache.
All of these terms are within eco-friendly parameters. We intend to hold a general audience and grab their attention to social and environmental issues.
Career history / Company history:
I was born in the region of Mato Grosso do Sul, in Brazil. There you can find the Pantanal, a popular place for ecotourism. Growing up in Campo Grande, the capital of MS, I undertook a degree in Social Communication and Journalism at UFMS whilst working for DNIT (former DNER) as a Personal Assistant for the Chief Executive. Then soon after my graduation in 1999 I had the opportunity to go to Holland to gain work experience writing for Papagaio magazine; a publication for the Brazilian community. I also worked as a Sales Assistant for Esmerald kindermode (children’s wear in Laren). During this period I became fluent in the Dutch language. Wanting to work as a journalist in Fashion, my journey took me to London. Living in Wimbledon, I studied fashion marketing, achieving a professional diploma. I was influenced by the freedom with which people approached what they wear. In particular different sub cultures are interspersed liberally throughout the High Street.
