I have been working in commercial fashion, designing for the high street and would like to find ways to affect change within this area. I feel that design and production decisions are key in the production of responsible garments, and I am especially interested in the environmental impact of the textiles and fashion industries.
Career history / Company history:
Until August 09 I have been working for a leather supplier on accounts including Asos, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Debenhams and Monsoon as a junor designer. Previously I worked on an outerwear design team for similarly commercial highstreet brands. This has also given me considerable insight into production (Europe, FE, India), and technical/product development work.

I'm a journalism MA student and I'm writing a feature on ethical fashion and its impact on the British high street. I wonder if you would be available at some point to have a quick chat with me? Is so, please message me back or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Look forward to hearing from you! Jenny
