Hi Camara, your advice is much appreciated. Im trying (and partly succeeeding) to use tartan as a means of reducing the 6 degrees of separation through fashion and to do it in way that uses globalisation to alleviate needless poverty eg using the 'Four Seasons' range of designs for the Japanese/South Korean market to support the poor in India. I've designed 'national' cloths for 16 of the 32 countries going to the World cup in South Africa which will provide a unique showcase but Im very intereted in the South Korea fashion week you mention. I can provide more details if you would like to help. Im at davidmcgill61@yahoo.co.uk

Hi Camara, with a name like yours I take it you have some Scottish heritage. If so you might appreciate this. Ive designed a South Korea tartan especially for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa which will shortly appear on the SakuraScotland website. It is actually being woven in South Africa for South Korea supporters and will be presented at a pre-World Cup fashion show. The design incorporates the colours and symbols in the South Korean flag. Would you be interested in getting involved?
