I am a graduate student of Enugu State University of Science and Technology Enugu, Nigeria. On Architecture. My love for fashion came as an inspiration from my mum, who is has a fashion industry and has several sale outlet and she has been in the business since 1976 and has a special training from Korea.
I came into the industry in 2005, and practically learn from my dear Mum, who also brought out her time to lecture me on the things she knew. I Traveled to China for clothing importation business, and had over four time business trip which was very successful. I imported women Tops and Tees, Shirt and blouses at the rate of 20,000pcs to 40,000pcs on each trip. But right about now, I have join my mum fully on the production sector which I found myself more successful and closer to becoming a very good designer. I import materials for my production from China and do the rest here in our factory. I market the clothes in our various outlet and also receive order for productions from marketers.

Hi Cajeta, I'm interested in your business in Nigera - where are you based? From your profile I gather that you run a production business - is that correct? Do you produce your own designs or other peoples orders? Thanks, Nicola.
Strange how we both went from architecture to fashion. I designed a Nigeria tartan which I have woven in the UK and made into a range of ready-to-wear skirts and accessories which I sell to the Nigerian diaspora in the UK. Im trying to have the design woven'printed in cotton in Nigeria for the US and local market.
