I set up an ethical fashion brand, KikoRomeo, in 1996 in Kenya. I am an experienced fashion designer and pattern cutter, and have developed many products with community groups and small scale businesses. We make and retail contemporary Africa and fashion and accessories. I am also the chairman of FAFA, which organises "Fashion for Peace" in Kenya.

General Arts degree from University of Edinburgh.
Fashion Diploma from Koefia in Rome.
Freelance design & pattern cutting in Barcelona for 5 years, including stints at Estrella G and Mango.
Aid work with MSF in Angola, Kenya and Zimbabwe, mainly as Head of Mission & Operations Management for Pact in Sudan.
Own fashion business in Kenya since 1996, working in ethical fashion. Designing, producing and retailing.
Consultancies with various product development projects wit women's groups, and ITC.
Currently expanded into Uniform design and production for companies in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Chairman and initiator of FAFA, which organises Fashion for Peace since 2008, giving a platform for designers from Kenya, the African continent and diaspora, to show creativity, glamour and positivity.
