I studied Central Saint Martins and graduated from Fashion womenswear in 2004. Since then I have created many different collections, predominantly Womenswear but have also created some menswear and accessories. I create them by myself, occasionally I get outside help. I set up 'creation26' in 2009 although I do not stock anywhere yet as I am still defining the direction of the brand.
I am most passionate about prints, colour and creating textures and it is this area I most want to develop into.
I read constantly about ethical fashion, fairtrade, organic development, green issues and sustainability, and in the future would love to incorporate this into the label.
Brands I passionately follow are Chloe, Paul & Joe, Marni, Marimekko, All Saints, Eley Kishmoto and Jessica Odgen, some of which I have had the pleasure of working for.
It is deep within my heart to raise awareness for Watoto and the Aid21 Campaign where I have worked alongside other designers, chereographers, musicians, models and photographers in charity fashion shows to raise money. I work closely with 'crossmentorsfashionevents'.
Career history / Company history:
I have been blessed to work with Isabella Blow, Jessica Odgen, Ann-Sofie Back, Neurotica, Paul & Joe, Diesel, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Daniel Garett, Kelly Knox, Liberty X and Sugarbabes (when they first began), as well as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols in their fashion departments.
I've had experience in Visual merchandising, working as a stylist, a fashion dresser for the Asian Lifestyle shows and working in the wardrobe department for 'Kiss Me Kate'.
