Career history / Company history:
Owner, Layo Gbadamosi is a licensed attorney in the state of New York and attended law school while simultaneously attending Parsons, The New School for Design. She was exposed to Fashion Law while at Fordham University School of Law, a newly recognized area of law. Knowing that there is little IP protection for works by fashion designers, she wanted to create something new and different in fashion that could possibly garner patent protection. This is how the idea of our unique Timeless Jacket was born during her last year in law school.
