We’ve all become slaves to ‘fast fashion’. The high street has turned us into sheep, buying whatever it churns out and then disposing of it when it falls apart.
We’ve lost our own individual sense of style and we want people to find it again.
We want to fashion to return to its glory days when people bought less, and cherished the things they did buy.
We want to promote ‘slow fashion’. Our limited edition designs are unique and have been inspired by art not the high street. And just like art, they’ll last you more than just one season.
It’s not just our sense of individuality that disposable fashion is destroying, it’s also taking a huge toll on the earth and the people that live on it and it’s hugely important to us to make as little impact as we can.
We don’t believe in harming the environment for fashion and style. Of course, we all want nice things (us included!) but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the earth and the people living on it. That’s why the way we source our products is always the most eco friendly way possible.
All our t-shirts and tote bags are made from 100% organic cotton (unless specified) and are produced in factories with ethical practices. - Career history / Company history:
- We met at university and after working as a great creative partnership in advertising, we were always looking for the perfect business venture. Our love for fashion and being eco-conscience led us to create Eco Boutique, and we knew straight away this is what we wanted to be doing with our lives.
