Career history / Company history:
Vusi started dancing at a tender age of 10. He started out as a Ballroom and Latin American Dancer. In the year 2000, he was a finalist in the Gauteng Championships in Carnival City and placed 1st position. He was then nominated as the face of Latin American dance TV series: The Summit on e-tv.

With his natural talent and tremendous desire to become a professional performing artist, Vusi was a cultural exchange student to study dance at The Rosella High Tower School of dance in France in 2001 and later completed a University Diploma in Performing Arts at Tshwane University of Technology Dance Academy (Trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and African Dances). Highlights of his productions as a student include his dual character in Copellia as a Moore and villager, FNB dance umbrella, and Ha! – A contemporary dance piece. Due to lack of funds in 2002, Vusi could not afford his final year of study and had to halt his studies, he then started performing on a freelance basis, and often performed in various corporate productions alongside South Africa’s renowned celebrity choreographers Willie Venter, Debbie Rakusin and David Matamela.

At a later stage, The University of Pretoria Drama Department recruited Vusi to teach African and Contemporary dance classes; he then raised funds to register a BA Degree Communications when he moved to work in Europe.

Vusi gained valuable work experience as a junior accounts manager with the London Borough of Hounslow, and during this time he managed to continue with his artistic interests in various British productions and ultimately teaming up with 2 like minded friends to establish a fashion label in the UK. One of the greatest moments was presented when Vusi became one of the dancers for a two month tour in a George Michael production, and being a lead dancer for Sakoba dance theatre.

When Vusi returned to South Africa in 2007, he has since then taken full position as an accounts manager building his portfolio in the communication and advertising industry. Part of his career includes being an actor/presenter and dancer currently managed by The X-factor (Exclusive artists agency). This is proving enough he is a multi-talented individual with a bright future ahead of him in different avenues including business. Career highlights under his belt include: Showcasing his summer range at the SA fashion week 2007/2008, I-tv (on British TV) as quiz show presenter, George Michael tour, Miss South Africa, African Adagio, Kora Africa Awards, Vodacom Road shows, Royco’s advertising and brand campaigns, and of course, a few other roles on British and South African television.

And to put a cherry on top he is writing his autobiography and supports a charity foundation by Dianne Lang.
