Hi Grafiti Es, I think I have something to help you with your project which involves both Nigeria and fashion. I designed a Nigeria tartan which is already woven and was featured in the UK at our Tartans for African fashion show last year. It will next be exhibited in South Africa at a fashion show in Cape Town around the time of the World Cup as part of the Nigeria50 celebrations. Hi, tartan can be woven lighter than cotton or heavier than denim and can be wool, cotton or silk.
The difference is in the way its woven.
