About me / About business or organisation:
Emesha was founded in 2008 to fill a gap in high end ethical women's wear clothing. The clothes are designed for women who don't want to compromise on style and quality, yet look for environmentally friendly, ethically produced pieces.

The designer, Emesha Nagy, graduated from the London College of Fashion (University of the Arts) in 2006. Her graduate collection was selected by the (Swatch) Alternative Fashion Week committee to show in April 2007. Emesha's previous experiences include working at Vivienne Westwood and Jasper Conran. She'd also been a style advisor for the luxury store, Selfridges in London.

Emesha's mission is to create eco-friendly fashion forward women's wear luxury clothing, and is part of the slow fashion movement.
"Fast fashion has created a disposable mentality in consumers, it has diminished the appreciation for the art and quality of fashion, as well as an understanding of the work and process involved in crafting apparel. I see the impact fashion has, by its sheer global scope, on the environment. I want to be part of the change needed in the industry to look for new resources and processes that do not have a negative impact on our planet."
