    Dear Caroline,

Just a quick message to introduce my newly launched, ethical accessories co. NV London Calcutta, recently shortlisted in our launch season for the EFF's Innovation Award and voted as having one of the Top 10 Ethical accessories from the recent Pure Womenswear Exhibition at London's Olympia.

Having learnt my trade, as Design Consultancy Manager for Bill Amberg (the luxury leather goods guru), I decided to set up NV London Calcutta as an antidote to the poorly designed and manufactured, stock ethical offerings I could see swamping the infant ethical market.

I work with a grass roots, not for profit, IFAT member manufacturer and the tiny cooperatives they support in West Bengal. Fusing the best of UK design talent and innovative design with the fostering of traditional, artisan crafts of India to create truly beautiful and timeless, highest quality, luxurious bags and accessories that benefit everyone in the supply chain.

Please do visit our site www.NVLondonCalcutta.com where you can view the current Collection & learn more about the people and processes behind the label in our Galleries. Coming soon, we'll be launching our all new, presentation packaged wallets and purses range, well in time for Christmas.

Please let me know if you would like any further information, press releases etc. I don't know if it's too far away for you, or too out of budget, but I am travelling to Calcutta early 2010 and would be delighted if you'd like to come along to see first hand the talent that there is out there in ethical production. I would be a pleasure to show you how the money from the bags we produce helps sustain traditional production methods and support those who create our products from raw materials (such as hand spun silk from cocoons), to the finished items (through our wonderful production house).

If you'd like to be kept up to date with our happenings in general, you can join our mailing list by sending us your email (we promise not to bore you to death with junk!) or become a fan of our facebook page - NV London Calcutta which features sneak previews of product and behind the scenes news etc.

    Thanks so much.

    Best wishes,

    Naomi
