I'm a freelance journalist and copywriter, covering organic lifestyle: food, fashion etc. I also write about ethical travel and natural parenting. I lived in East Africa for two years, so have a special interest in African textiles and fashion.
I also taught English as a foreign language in Sicily and Tanzania and enjoy helping non-English speakers create fluent English content.

Career history / Company history:
2002-2004: Two years working for an overland travel company in Tanzania, and started out as a freelance writer and photographer.
2004-2005: Journalism course at London School of Printing then stint on a telecommunications trade mag in London, plus freelance work for The Big Issue, Wanderlust, Waitrose Food Illustrated, The Italian Magazine.
2006-2008: Travelled around SA and then NZ for The Greenwood Accommodation Guide plus wrote for The Guardian Online.
2008-2010: Settled in NZ after meeting my partner there, had a daughter then full time mum. Also trained to teach a dancing form of Tai Chi called Wu Tao: www.wutaodance.com. I teach festivals and training events.
2010-present: Back in UK. Staff writer on The Natural Parent Magazine (www.thenaturalparent.co.nz) covering organic children's clothing, food and sustainable living. I also blog for organic baby clothing company: www.naturalbabyshower.co.uk
