sourcing great fabrics, networking with like-minded marketers and designers, and possibly seeing how i can help with any U.S. efforts
About me / About business or organisation:
Graphic designer, marketer & social technology girl interested in ethical fashion and its process from start (sourcing, designing, manufacturing) to finish (retail/supply chain and brand communications). Would love to see more events like these here in the U.S.
Career history / Company history:
Little girl with fashion plates grows up to be a graphic designer with an equally strong multi-channel marketing and technology background. Throw in a splash of public relations, community management and events.
Hi Kiran, there is one sure way to get hold of 'ethical' fabrics. Make them yourself. By producing a fabric using the colours of the Puerto Rican flag you create international awareness and identity by providing a national symbol which can also be used to create employment by re-investing the profits locally.
