Offset Warehouse is an online site, due to launch in a few months, that retails everything people need to be ethical in interiors and fashion.

We retail and wholesale the broadest range of ethical fabrics, materials and services in the UK … possibly the world! Offset
Warehouse supply all forms of ethical materials and trims including: recycled,
by-product, reclaimed, organic, fairtrade, sustainable and co-op. We also provide information about services such as natural dye labs, digital printing and embroidery and prints by textile designers, to enable customers to enhance the fabrics they’ve bought.

What we’re looking for: We are seeking an intern to help develop and carry out our marketing strategy.

The job will include:
Marketing the Offset Warehouse site.
Developing relationships with potential advertisers and promoters.
Helping to organise events, trade shows and photoshoot opportunities.
Contributing to our social networks on a regular basis.

Skills: PR and Marketing or publishing qualifications, preferably with
a fashion major. Photoshop and Illustrator skills. Excellent written communication. Other spoken languages is beneficial, although not a requirement.

Candidates Must have:
An in depth knowledge of fashion & interor brands and magazines.
An awareness and understanding of ethical fashion.
Confidence to voice innovative business ideas.

Candidates Should:
Be able to work as part of a team.
Be hard-working, diligent and focussed
Be able to time manage and work to a deadline
Be trustworthy, honest and transparent.
Be able to work independently and take initiative.
Be up to date with current trends.
Be professional, well-spoken, well-mannered.

Where?
The internship will be based in our studio in Twickenham - candidates should ideally live less than an hour away.

We will cover travel expenses.

We are interested in candidates who are available 4-5 days a week and for 4-6 months, with the possibility of moving into a paid position at the end of this period. Our hours are 10-6pm.

Hello! I just graduated with a degree in Clothing, Textiles & Design and am looking to gain industry experience. Ideally I would love to help improve the working conditions of garment industry workers as well as learn more about alternative fiber production.  In addition I have a strong interest in performance-oriented product development.

I have a Masters in CSR, experience volunteering for SAI (people behind the SA8000 certification), have excellent business acumen, research skills and loads of random facts and knowledge about ethical supply chains!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am a marketing student from Portsmouth University doing my final year with a strong passion for ethical fashion. I also have close to a years experience working as a runner at the TV company RDF Media PLC working in various roles, ranging from reception to general admin and marketing roles to on-shoot responsibilities. I am extremely interested and motivated to gain some experience in the ethical fashion industry via internships or short term voluntary placements. Hi EFF!

I graduated last year in Retail Management From Bournemouth University specialising in marketing, managing and sales, and over the last 4 years have spent lots of time travelling around the world including South America, South East Asia and India. Through this extensive travel I encountered the most amazing experiences and gained an understanding of the roots of Ethical practices. I have met with several ethical NGO's, start up and established retailers and production establishments through my travels. I would love to break into the sales and retail development side of Ethical retailing.

I've have graduated studying fashion design and specialised in ethical fashion with experience designing collections for london fashion week. I have also had experience within tailoring. I have just moved to and am currently looking for any work within design, pattern cutting and manufacture. I would love to get involved with a company who's emphasis is on ethical design.
