At Mancinism we're looking for diverse people (not models) to model our ethical fashion! That's right, not traditional "models", not the glamour types that media force us to consume, not the fantasy types that are perfectly unrealistic and ultimately give us complexes if we believe we're supposed to live up that fake standard.
We want real-life, unmade-up, 100% natural human beings to help us dispel the illusion that being unhealthily skinny is the way to look, and therefore they way clothes should hang on you (quite literally)! You're not a clothes hanger, the clothes shouldn't wear you, you should wear the clothes. No age, colour or size restrictions!
So whether your an artisan, consider yourself a new-age hippy, have learning difficulties, missing limbs or are eccentric in any way - we want to hear from you! We're not professional photographers, just creative with vivid imaginations and great vision...so there's no official white room studio, we prefer to make do with the nature of the outdoors (we are trying to promote the eco lifestyle, organic and realness after all).
We can't offer much in the way of funds, but we can offer you a free custom printed garment as a thank you for your time, not to mention crediting your photos (social media mentions, hash tags, etc.) as a way of showing your support for ethical fashion and diverse modelling! So if you live in or around the London area, and want to join us in our mission against the media, contact:
