Ethical Fashion final Major Project

Hey everyone, i need a bit of help and couldn't think of a better place to ask people!!
I'm in my third year at university doing printed textiles for fashion and i had wanted to do my final major project on ethical fashion. I had intentions to produce a collection of samples that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. At the same time i wanted to prove that you can produce beautiful, stylish and well designed pieces whilst being environmentally friendly.

At the university i am at we use conventional dyes and printing pastes and the natural dyes that i have researched don't give a good enough quality finish. the colours aren't strong enough or varied enough. This is where i hit a wall, if i don't use natural dyes and only natural fabrics, there isn't enough that i am doing to be able to call it an eco project. I want to be innovative with my work but i am struggling to find any natural products that are of good enough quality.

If anyone knows of any websites or companies where i could order great quality natural dyes or really beautiful organic fabrics please could you let me know. Or if any one has any helpful tips, advice or ideas i would be so grateful and that would be really helpful!
