BETTER FASHION CONVERSATIONS: PART II

A CLOSER LOOK AT BONDED LABOUR IN THE FASHION SUPPLY CHAIN

When: Thursday April 25th at 7pm – 9pm

Where: The Loft, South Studios, Dublin 8

About:

As part of the Re-dress’s Better Fashion Conversations we are partnering with Trocaire on an event that will look at bonded labour in the supply chain in Pakistan. Everyday thousands of adults and children face a life bound to slavery in the the cotton production industry in Pakistan. Released bonded labourers face enormous problems reintegrating themselves into society and developing sustainable livelihoods for their families. Susan Morell of the Sunday Business Post will facilitate the discussion on the evening in association with Re-dress and Trocaire and we are delighted to host our guests from Pakistan on the evening Shrimati Veero, Dr. Gulam Hyder & Karamat Ali.

This is a unique opportunity for you to sit & converse with individuals working to improve the supply chain. Aimed at fashion industry practitioners, students, recent graduates and anyone interested in having a Better Fashion Conversation this evening will take place on Thursday April 25th at 7pm at The Loft, South Studios, Dublin 8.

This is a free event but registration is essential - RSVP icontact@re-dress.ie
